Personal Chef Terms & Conditions

 

OVERVIEW

This website is owned and operated by FIT & HEALTHY CHEF(ABN 39642285407). In these Terms, ‘us’, ‘we’ and ‘our’ means FIT & HEALTHY CHEF.

By accessing and/or using this website and related services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which include our Privacy Policy (Terms). You should review these Terms carefully and immediately cease using our website if you do not agree to these Terms. 

We reserve the right to update, change or replace our Terms by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Confirmation

we require written confirmation along with a 50% deposit.

Final Numbers

We require minimum guest numbers 5 working days prior to the event.

After this point, these numbers may then only increase leading up to the event date.

Chef fee

Monday to Friday- $ 55.00 per hour

Saturday -$ 60.00 per hour

Sunday -$ 70.00 per hour

Public Holidays- $ 110.00 per hour

All events will incur a minimum chef charge of $ 220.00 per required chef. Required staff will need to have access to the venue 1 hour before guest arrival.

Should the event extend beyond 4 hours, an additional cost of $ 55.00 per hour, per chef will apply.

On public holidays, the chef charge is $110.00 per hour from the arrival time until the event conclusion (this charge is regardless of the food spend).

We recognises all NSW public holidays, and in addition we recognise from 6pm on Christmas Eve and from 6pm on New Year’s Eve as public holiday rates.

Chef travel time will be charged for distances 20km or greater from the CBD at an hourly rate of $ 55.00 per hour per chef.

In addition, travel time may be applicable if travelling in peak hours.

For personal chef service fees depends from the event and from the chef will organise your event, for some events we will not apply chef fee.

Delivery fee

Chef charge does not apply to drop off catering.

For drop off catering, a delivery fee of $ 15-20 per delivery will apply,  it depends from destination .

Fit & Healthy Chef recognises all NSW public holidays, and in addition we recognise from 6pm on Christmas Eve and from 6pm on New Year’s Eve as public holiday rates.

Waitstaff fee 

Monday to Friday- $ 45.00 per hour

Saturday – $ 50.00 per hour

Sunday – $ 55.00 per hour

Public Holidays- $ 100.00 per hour

Waitstaff have a minimum shift of 4 hours, charged at an hourly rate. Hourly rates vary depending on the day of the week. Required staff will need to have access to the venue 1 hour before guest arrival.

On public holidays, the waitstaff rate is $100.00 per hour, from the arrival time until the event conclusion.

Fit & Healthy chef recognises all NSW public holidays, and in addition we recognise from 6pm on Christmas Eve and from 6pm on New Year’s Eve as public holiday rates.

Waitstaff travel time will be charged for distances 20km or greater from the CBD at an hourly rate of $ 55.00 per hour per staff .

In addition, travel time may be applicable if travelling in peak hours.

Parking

It is the client’s responsibility to organise parking for the catering vehicle.

Any car park/council meter fees incurred are payable by the client.

Contractor

For any contractor orr induction required on a site, a $ 220.00 per occasion fee will be charged.

Menus

All menus are subject to seasonal availability. Substitutions of equal value will be made if any product is unavailable.

Equipment Hire

Fit & Healthy Chef can assist you with equipment hire, such as tables, chairs, glassware etc. We can provide you with the details of our preferred equipment hire company or Fit & Healthy Chef will organise the hire equipment on your behalf. The

equipment hire company will deliver the equipment a day before the function and pick it up a day after the function (Monday if the function is held Fri-Sun).

Final Payment

Full payment is required 5 working days prior to your event.

Should there be any additional charges e.g. extension of function times, glass breakages these will be invoiced on a 7 day account following the event.

Late Payment Fee

Invoices not paid within 30 days after the event will incur a $50.00 late fee. The late fee will increase by $50.00 for every 30 days thereafter that the invoice remains unpaid.

Payment Method

We accept all major credit cards 3.5% surcharge will apply.

Cash and Cheques are also accepted.

Cancellation

Due to unforeseen circumstances and the need to cancel, the following terms will apply:

Cancellation made within 2 days of the event, 100% event value invoice will be issued.

Cancellation made 3 to 5 days prior to the event, 100% event value invoice will be issued, excluding staff charges.

Cancellation made 6 to 14 days prior to the event, 50% event value invoice will be issued.

Cancellation made 15 to 30 days prior to the event, 25% event value invoice will be issued.

EXTRA

Additional services such as the set up of offsite kitchens, bar set-up, furniture hire, equipment hire, crockery, cutlery , glassware, floral arrangements and linen is also available through our trusted suppliers. We also have professional event stylists on hand should you require detailed styling and theming for your event.
